What's so special about e-cloths?

E-cloths are becoming more popular as the way to go when it comes to easy, chemical-free cleaning.  What are they, and why are they so successful?

HOW DO E-CLOTHS WORK?
Using an e-cloth is a revolutionary way to clean. The trick is in the density: a typical cloth can squeeze almost half a million fibres into a single centimetre square, giving it enormous cleaning power. Think of pulling half a million cleaning edges across a surface in a moment, and you have an idea why e-cloths can give a deeper clean than cleaning with chemicals. The fibres break up and remove more grease and dirt - and only need water to do so.

ISN'T IT JUST A MICROFIBRE CLOTH?

No, an e-cloth isn't just another microfiber cloth. It is manufactured using a more advanced fibre technology, and a different chemical process. The key differences are in fibre size, composition, processing and density; e-cloths really do seem to outperform all other cleaning cloths on the market.

E-cloths are made of polyester and polyamide, giving them extremely high absorbency.  The fibres are a thousand times finer than cotton.

ADDITIONAL POLISHING AND DISINFECTING QUALITIES
Surfaces are left polished and smear and lint free.  In addition, surfaces are cleaned so effectively that there is nowhere left for bacteria to grow. Scientific research carried out by Silliker Group has shown that e-cloths, using only water, remove over 99% of bacteria.

HELP THE ENVIRONMENT
As they don't use chemicals, e-cloths are a great solution for those who want to keep their environment free from pollution and allergens:

"e-cloths are great for allergy sufferers as they only require water for effective cleaning. They are also suitable for those who wish to avoid or eliminate the use of chemicals in the home. They don't contain chemicals, nor do they need to be used with any added chemicals, providing a natural and easy way to clean the home."
(Lindsey McManus, deputy Chief Executive Officer of Allergy UK)
